I've spent hours trying to decipher the coding rules of malignant excisions with adjacent tissue transfer.
In a nutshell, physician performed a radical resection of multiple sites or recurrent metastatic malignant melanoma of the scalp with advancement flap closure; split-thickness skin grafting; radical resection of recurrent tumor mass left posterior auricular region
Physician coded:21016, 14021, 15100,21558
What I do know is that excision of lesions are not separately reportable with adjacent tissue transfer..
What I do not know is if this applies to this case
