Our office is having a debate regarding a CPT code selection for the procedure performed (below).

Plan:
Excisional bx of anterior 2/3 of tongue on dorsal aspect

Procedure:
Injected 68mg 4% septocaine with 1:200,000 epinephrine to lingual nerve block
Placed bite block and throat pack
Excisional biopsy of right-sided dorsal of tongue lesion
Used Addison's to hold specimen and use CO2 laser at 8 watts continuous to undermine lesion from oral cavity. Entirety of lesion was removed. Specimen was placed in Formalin and submitted to pathology for review. Use CO2 laser at 4 watts in a super pulse to cauterize the lingual tissue. Copious irrigation with NS used to clean region. Used 3-0 chromic to close biopsy site. Positive hemostasis was achieved
No complications. Removed throat pack and bite block. Pressure applied, hemostasis+
Written/Verbal post op and RX precautions discussed with patient.

In this forum's opinion which is the best code for this service: 41112 or 41599?

Thank you for your time.
