Can someone tell me if creating DME orders is classified as experience to remove the A from my designation? DME orders are code based.
 
If you are utilizing CPT, ICD10, and/or HCPCS, then yes, that should count. You need either 2 letters (one from your employer), or 1 letter from your employer and proof of education. It does not have to be actual experience reading notes and translating that into codes. But you do need to use codes daily.
