My name is Lisa, I have a certificate in Medical Coding & Billing. I have been working in the healthcare industry for 10 years. I have 5 years of experience working with Insurance Verification, Billing & Medical Records. I currently work at a busy Ophthalmology department that does the billing and I make sure the correct CPT, modifiers & ICD 10 codes can be billed. I am still working on obtaining my CPC but I am a fast learner, hard worker and just need a chance to have a job in coding right now so I can obtain my CPC and hopefully working with coding it will help me pass the exam.
