In my new position, I will be doing audits and compliance reviews of all of our clinics, including OB/GYN. My only previous exposure to this speciality is Amb Surg coding of "routine" procedures such as a D&C or polyp removal. What is a good source of information for a "beginner" like me? Thanks!

The ACOG web site is a great resource. They also have a Coding Manual. The Ingenix OB/GYN Coding Companion is also really good. Also, you can subscribe to a monthly newsletter called OB/GYN Coding Alert. Hope this helps.
