I have been responsible for all coding using ICD-9 CM and CPT4 manuals and software, billing, follow up, posting of insurance and patient payments for over 20 years. I am also responsible for balancing patient accounts and sending out monthly statements. In addition, I obtain all prior authorizations and pre certifications as required by the insurance companies. I am diligent about keeping my outstanding charges to a minimum. I am also in charge of all insurance credentialing and keeping the CAQH information up to date.
