I am an experience RHIT, CCS, CPC Multi-specialty coder with 7 years of experience interested in a remote coding position. My current contract ends on Dec. 31, 2010 and I live in a rural area in Upper Michigan approximately 3 hours from Escanaba, MI. I am unable to relocate at this time, but I am willing to train in on-site. Prefer full-time, although I will consider part-time and/or other opportunities.
• Experienced in ensuring accurate assignment of ICD-9-CM, CPT and HCPCS codes, according to documentation. My current accuracy rate is 98% in outpatient coding.
• Able to learn abstracting and charge entry applications quickly
• Experience in 1995 & 1997 E&M coding and guidelines
• Experience in coding multi-specialty procedures
