I am billing with pre op DX: recurrent right temporal epidural hematoma, skull fracture.
Procedure:Exploration of right frontal craniotomy.Removal of recurrent epidural hematoma.

DO you think 22830, 61312 are the right codes?

Please advice.

22830 is incorrect. That is for exploration of spinal fusion only. 61312 would be correct based on the diagnosis you have provided. Exploration is included in the removal.
