Billing for occupational medicine- employee vet tech exposure to a dog that was POSITIVE for Leptosirosis which is a bacterial infection spread thru bloodstream per dictation patient states when moving dog on gurney his foot hit her in the face vet tech unsure if fluids or urine were on it but once deceased lost bowels and urine~vet tech symptoms pain back,neck,throat,fatigue,some nausea
culture and labs were done my question is would i use V74.8 special screening bacterial/spireochetal diseases or V82.9 special screening unspecified condition

Actually, I'd probably code this as V70.5, V74.8...sorry - I missed the Occupational screening code at first - it should be listed as primary, I believe.
