Hello! I am inquiring about a Medicare ER patient that was taken care of by one of our PA's on 09/15/22. This patient has an LVAD device and needed transferred out to the hospital he had the device put in at. They did not have an available bed until 09/16/22. He ended up being in our ER for 14 hours and 20 minutes. I am needing help to see if I can bill a prolonged service code or not.
