Wiki extenssive adhesionlysis?

Hello,

i have this operation:
Right hepatectomy with extensive adhesiolysis from previous surgery.

47130 is for right hepatectomy ??. But what about extensive adhesiolysis? No intra abdominal adhesiolysis code is available in CPT ??..

Should I code 47130 with modifier 22? Cause I don?t think the code 44005 is appropriate in this case right?

Does the documentation state that extensive time was taken? If so, then you will want to add a 22 modifier to the procedure. The documentation and justification has to state that it was extensive (over and above a normal lysis of adhesions).
