Is "extreme" obesity the same as "Morbid" obesity.

Coding Clinic indicates that a BMI of 40 and over, adult, generally corresponds with extreme obese.

Can one code to 278.01

Thank you.

Underweight: Less than 17.9
Normal: 18 to 24.9 (18 to 22.9 for Asians)
Overweight: 25.1 to 29.9 (23 to 29.9 for Asians)
Obese, moderate: 30 to 40
Obese, severe: More than 40

Per the following website, yes:

This morbid obesity is also called by some people as clinically severe obesity or extreme obesity.

I've also saw it on 2 other sites.
