PT comes in for a follow up and to check the patency of a fistula, can we charge for the U/S done that day or is it inculsive to the follow up office visit??

Are you performing 93990 with an office visit, if so then it is fine to bill both.
I dont have my book or the dictation in front of me but yes i do believe that would be the code to check the patency and maturity of it after placement.
