We are in the initial process of bringing onboard an Occupational Medicine physician who will perform Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) examinations / physicals. A small portion of these will be work related, where I feel it would be appropriate to bill 99455 for a 'work related examination by the treating physician.' What I am trying to find information about; the vast majority will be for private pilots, does anyone bill these and know what would be the most appropriate CPT Code? Thank you...
