I'm having trouble getting a procedure covered by insurance. Patient had an essure procedure done previously and afterwards, got pregnant. She is now going to have a bilateral salpingectomy done to remove essure coils and for sterilization. The insurance will not accept the diagnosis for encounter for sterilization. There are no other problems other than she got pregnant and wants sterilization done. Please, any suggestions would be helpful!
