Does code 90847 for family therapy apply to only outpatient or can you bill it with an inpatient place of service as well? Also, the provider did med managment at the same time so I was wondering if that is included as well or if I can bill a 90862 or another code for that. Thank you

90847 can now be billed inpatient as well.

It was a psychiatrist that did the visit but it was for 2012 not 2013. Is it okay to bill 90847 still?
