Our ED physicians & PA's are starting to do the FAST exams. Do the PA's need to be certified or trained in just the FAST ultrasound training? They can already do bedside OB ultrasounds.

How can they perform an exam they have not been trained in? Or am I misreading the question? Do you mean, "do they have to be certified in it, or is training adequate?"
