How is everyone charging or paying for coding services? Is it a flat fee plus collection on NCR or is it a per claim fee or strictly a % of NCR? What are the fee's dependent on? Physician's within the group, UB vs Professional, E/M, or other specialty services? What is a typical % of NCR collected for a service providing billing and coding services? I am doing some research to see what the typical industry average is to help analyze overall costs and resources are limited. If you have a resource to access or another AAPC post, I will appreciate that feedback as well. Thank you!
