I'm helping a new ped office open up and were doing the fee schedule now. The fees for immunizations are the cost + the admin fees. Correct? Do our payers need to have knowledge of what our costs are? Thanks!
 
The best was to set up fees I think would be to use BCBS fee schedule & add 15% to it as your base rate for charges. Each payor has there own fee schedule so no matter what amount you bill out they will only pay according to their fee schedule.
