I am looking for a cpt code to use with a right heart cath and endomyocardial biopsies.

The procedure note states as follows:

"ANGIOGRAPHIC DATA:
Two hand angiograms were performed in both right and left femoral veins, which confirmed that they were
both occluded, with colateral channel formation to reconnect with the iliac veins."

Can anyone lead me in the right direction?

These angiograms sounds like guiding/roadmapping shots to me (to confirm whether the vessels being accessed to perform the heart cath and closed at the end of the case are open). Unless the physician gave a separate medically-necessary indication for imaging the lower extremity arteries and gave more extensive findings of the lower extremity arteries than what is depicted here, I would consider this bundled to the heart cath.

I hope that helps -have a great night!
