Wiki Finding a coding position while CPC-A

I passed my CPC a few months ago and am having a very hard time finding anyone that is willing to hire someone with no experience. I have been a kindergarten teacher for the last 10 years and am looking for a career change. ANY and ALL help is much appreciated.

I agree. I'm not certified yet, have yet to start my course, that happens in November, but just getting your foot in the door will help. I told my wife that even if I have to take a part-time job to supplement a smaller paycheck while I'm looking for a coding position I will. Just something to think about.
