A patient had injury to pad of 5th finger and it was mostly avulsed away. A 2x2 split thickness graft was taken from the left anterior thigh. I know that the thigh area can billed as a secondary procedure - but am struggling with codes. The split thickness graft for the finger should be coded as 15120, correct? Then how do you code for the repair of the secondary defect now on the thigh?
