I am receiving requests to bill for Fire Department /Fire Engine services. Firehouses in our area are looking for revenue. It has been difficult researching the non-transport coding as everything is tied to the ambulance. This is when the Fire Engine is the first responder on the scene. Does anyone have experience in billing Auto Insurance for a Fire Engine non-transport service? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think you can do this. Just like you cannot bill for Police services the fire services are paid for with tax dollars. Just because they are the first responder does not mean you can charge the patient or the insurance for the services. If you charge for the fire department then you would need to charge for the police services.
