Doing the billing for Nurse Pract/Midwife. Patient is Medicaid, has first OB visit. Do I hold these charges (99205) untill she has reached antepartum visits up to delivery. :eek:
 
We bill as you go along. Why would you hold it? You bill each visit for Medicaid this is not a global package.
 
OB

If the patient came in for initial OB visit and provider did a complete OB record, this is included in the OB package and everything is billed after delivery. The only things that are billable at time of service would be US and lab.
