NEED SOME HELP PLEASE!!

For pathologists in FL, if the procedures were performed at an ASC (POS 24), but the pathologist owns an Independent lab (POS 81), can the pathologist bill their charges globally using POS 81??

I know that many changes are being made by CMS and the POS guidelines are changing rapidly; however, I believe that all of the pathologists that are under the "grandfather clause" are still able to bill this way.

If not, are they required to bill POS 24 and only bill the professional component of their services?

Any help is appreciated!
