Where did the summer go? When we have to start talking flu shots, we know that this has flown by!

Anyway, I am looking for guidance here - for the upcoming flu season, I know that MCR has the new Q2034 code for Agriflu. But if our clinics are using Fluzone preservative free instead, do we use 90656 or something else? I would believe 90656, but have been unable to find anything definitive.

I believe you would use Q2038-Influenza virus vaccine, split virus, when administered to individuals 3 years of age and older, for intramuscular use (fluzone)

Yes, the office I work for utilizes the fluzone and it is Q2038 with G0008 admin. for Medicare and Medicare advantage plans. At least in our situation.
