Can you bill both an FNA and biopsy together?
 
This is according to the CMS National Correct Coding Initiative " FNA should not be reported with another biopsy procedure code for the same lesion unless one specimen is inadequate for diagnosis." I hope this helps, I know I always have trouble with it.
