Is there an ICD9 code for chronic follicular appendicitis with chronic lymphocytic peritonitis or do I just use appendicitis - 540.9? Thanks
 
There isn't a specific follicular appendicitis, so it would just code to appendicitis.

I would probably code 540.0 rather than 540.9 since there is peritonitis.
