I'm looking for advise. I have an Electro-physiology inserts a pacemaker, which has global period of 90 days. A Cardiologist visits the patient during the global period as follow-up with no separate E/M reason except the follow-up to pacemaker insert. Can we bill the visit since they have separate speciality? (both physicians are within my group.)
