Hopefully someone can help with this:
How do you bill a annual physical follow up? For example, a pt comes in for a 99395, and then returns 2 weeks later for lab results. Is there any way to bill this besides using a sick visit code?:confused:

If the lab results indicate a new diagnosis or a need to change a treatment due to the results then use the diagnosis for the result or treatment. If all results are normal then there is no foundation to charge a visit. other than possibly a physician level 99211
