Wiki for 5 day telemetry , cpt 93229 , I know that medicare tells to put 1 unit. What about commercial insurances. Do we put 5 units for 5 day telemetry.

for 5 day telemetry , cpt 93229 , I know that medicare tells to put 1 unit. What about commercial insurances. Do we put 5 units for 5 day telemetry. Will the commercial insurance pay for all 5 days separately? some say it is wrong it will still be considered 1 unit. A few have submitted 5 units for 5 days and are paid by commercial insurances. Please guide as it makes a huge difference in the reimbursement.
