I have a group of providers that are going to start seeing patients at the FQHC for ob/gyn services. When the established FQHC patient delivers at the local hospital would the physician that delivered the baby bill under the FQHC group tax id/npi with his npi as rendering or would he bill for his services under the hospital ob/gyn service group for which he is oncall? Does that make sense?
