Wiki Fracture care

I am new to ortho coding. Patient has a fx and goes to E.R. for treatment. Told to f/u with Ortho doc. My docs want to charge an E/M and fx care code for the first visit to them. Most of the time nothing is done to the fx when they see us, they just review xrays and continue the treatment the hospital gave.

Is there some guidelines somewhere as to when its appropiate to charge for the fx care?
