If follow up is not mentioned by physician and Physician provided definitive care for Patient ? s fracture with X-ray Evaluation,

Is it advisable to code Fracture care or not?

Kindly clarify with Documentation
 
With or Without Manipulation?

If with manipulation you can bill it with modifier 54.
If it's with out manipulation, rule of thum, no. Check with your individual payers though.
 
I work in orthopedics and you can bill fracture care with or with out manipulation . (Closed Treatment ) The question is if you anticipate seeing the patient for follow-ups ?? and Assuming care . Check appointment book are they scheduled for follow ups? If chart note only says follow up as needed I wouldn't bill fx care . If chart note says see back in 2 wks for repeat xrays .?.look for clues in the plan or simply query the provider .
