I have gotten many different answers on this so I wanted to get opinions. what guidelines do ya'll follow to decide whether or not to bill fracture care. My main question being what if the patient brings in a sling that was already given to them? I know we can bill fracture care if we supply the sling and do the follow up care but what if we did not supply it? Every place I search gives a different basis on which to make this decision and I am confused.
