I have a charge for fracture care of distal radius fracture 25600, but the doctor gives a diagnosis of probable nondisplaced fracture distal left radius. Am I correct that I cannot bill the fracture care with this diagnosis? It would have to be a definitive fracture diagnosis to bill fracture care, correct?
 
yes you are correct, cannot code anything probable or suspected. Now if he saw something in lets say an xray that he suspects is a fracture, then maybe you can use 793.7
