Hi All, I am an Analyst in an SIU with a payor that follows Medicare Guidelines for all of our MA and Commercial plans. I am the only AAPC coder on my Team of 5. My Manager has asked if I can locate any free high level overview training options that we can provide to the rest of my Team to give them a better understanding of what types of red flags they should look at before escalating to me for a coding review. Does anyone have any recommendations that would just help them to understand basic coding principals for CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10? While it would be lovely if they all took the AAPC CPC course, it is not necessarily needed for them to all be certified.

Hi there, your MAC is a great source of free training sessions, a lot of it is on the MAC's YouTube channel.
