Hello - I'm not familiar with fx coding and the use of modifiers. Does anyone have a cheat sheet or website that would spell this out in layman's terms for a beginner in ortho coding? I code for an urgent care and I know I need to be very careful w/ coding anything that is referred on to ortho. Thanks!

I don't have a cheat sheet per se, but coding the fracture care in urgent care is going to be tricky unless you guys are seeing the patient back for continued care. The best that you can get is the E/M modifier 25 if you did any casting and the casting code. If no casting was done then you wont need the modifier on the E/M.
