We sent claims electronically through Gateway EDI and I am getting alot of deinals on some G codes stating it is not a valid code. Such as G8423, how do I get the replacement for this code. The description for this code is "DOCUMENTED THAT PATIENT WAS SCREENED AND EITHER INFLUENZA VACCINATION STATUS IS"

When I pull up this code in Encoder Pro it shows that it was deleted 1/1/2011 and has a note "To report see G8636-G8640". Check out the HCPCS book for direction.
