Hello, just curious as to who is doing the data entry for the G Codes in ASCs? Is this a coder responsibility or nurse/tech in OR right after discharge? Thanks for any info! :confused:
 
Our facility has been entering them since October, the nurses fill out the reporting form and sign it and it goes to the coder and the G codes are entered at the time of billing.
 
Yes our ASC made the form. If you want, you can send me your email and I can send a copy of the one we use and you can use it for a example.
