Good morning.

Our Endocrinology clinic wants to start billing DSMT-Diabetes Self-Management Training, HCPC G0108; they have received accreditation. There is not a Registered Dietician onsite; however, there is one CDCES-Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. Can an RN who does not have CDCES perform the G0108? From what we have found, incident to does not apply but must be under direct supervision. Can any provider in the group practice be the billing provider or just who the accreditation was obtained under?

I would appreciate any assistance and reference sites.
