I recently attended a billing conference in which we were told that the regs for the G0179 has changed and that the patient has to be examined by physician every 60 days. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find this in writing?

We were also told in the conference that patients that were receiving scripts monthly for controlled substances, should have an examination by physician monthly to obtain those scripts? I would like to know what other offices are doing on this matter!
