G0378 issue-

We are a ER, OP, Mini Hospital and currently billing for the G0378 for observation 8hrs and more, but the problem comes in when the physician documents the records for Observation of 6Hrs or less. The set criteria should be 8hrs or more to bill the G0378. The claim is being rejected by UHC due to the number of units billed. Is there an alternate code to use.
