We have a provider who does telehealth for our neurology group. He is wanting to bill G0427, but documents 45 minutes. I know this code is normally 70 minutes, but can this code also be billed by Medical Decision Making?
Has documented - MDM meets high based on possible stroke (left hemiplegia and dysarthria) - threat to life, decision to admit to hospital, further work up including frequent monitoring. Data provider ordered MRI, CTA, Cardiac ECHO, lipid panel and HgbA1C Provider read CT angiogram showing 90% stenosis of A2 segment and the CT Head, interpretation was unremarkable for acute process.
