Hi all,
I was wondering if I can get some feed back on this:
I went to a new internist for a New patient consult. I am looking at my recipt for 290.00 ( unfortunately didnt look at it in the office). I had a 25. copay. There are two HCPCS codes for depression screening( G0444) and alcohol screening(G0442) added to my consult
I code for outpatient in the hospital and I am not very familair with E/M levels. I am 54 ( not on MCR) and no where near being depressed nor do I drink on the regular- Would there be a reasin for this? before I call to inquire, can i get some opinions.
