Hello,
Can these codes be billed together with a 25 Modifier? I am getting rejections saying that the 99306 (Nursing home visit) cannot be billed with the G0559 even with a modifier. The patient was seen in the hospital and had a surgical procedure done by a surgeon. He was then transferred to a skilled nursing facility and treated by the wound care physician. We billed the visit along with the G0559 and added a 25 modifier to the E/M code. Can someone enlighten me on why the claims are being rejected? Thank you
