Wiki G6017 NOT COVERED BY NC MEDICAID

We are receiving a lot of denials related to G6017 as this code is not on Medicaid's fee schedule. Is there another code we can change this to? 77387 has been suggested but we are unsure if that is an appropriate substitute.

Where are you billing from? The professional component (OP facility) for respiratory gating/tracking, G6017-26 is the correct code for intra-fraction localization/tracking target or patient motion during RT. Some payers will accept 77387-26 (not Medicare).
