New hcpcs G9147 Outpatient intravenous insulin treatment either pulsatile or continous by any means..

How would a situation be reported where the patient is not in hosp solely for the insulin but was brought in for infusion of other meds (pain, antibx..) and just happens to be diabetic also so the insulin was added to the pump? Would the insulin be reported with the G9147 or C8957 (intravenous infusion for therapy/dx; initiation of prolonged infusion, requiring use of pump)

CMS (NCD) states of G9147 .."typically performed on an intermittent basis (often weekly).."

This is not the case here, patient not coming in weekly, just happens to be diabetic so while receiving other meds, insulin added to pump.
