Wiki GC Modifier and Hospital Billing

I just started working Hosptial Billing and I understand PB and HB are very different. I need some direction on the use of GC modifier. I know as a PB coder we used GC mod when a resident saw the patient and the teaching physician noted they were in attendance. For HB would we still use the GC modifier in the same scenario? Any links or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
