Billing 58570 (Lapaorscopy,surgical with total hysterrectomy). Looks like the code is gender specific, but the patient has already changed their gender to Male, but hasn't had the vaginectomy done. Does anyone know of a different code to use?
 
If the female/male organs are still present, then I have been told that medically the gender has no been reassigned, the patient is still female/male until the medical procedures are completed to remove all of the gender specific organs.
